I have 2 Tremonti II guitars... I've always had trem issues so I bought a Tremol-no for both. I don't really use a trem anyway... I wish they would offer them in a hardtail again...

Do yourself a favor and get rid of that bridge pickup though... LOL...
Haha I love that pickup!

The bridge should be parallel to the body, as it's probably changed it's angle if you've dropped it to C#.
This is 99% of the problem I see with people having trouble with those 'pesky' Floyds. Keep it parallel. If you change tunings adjust the spring claw on the back. It's a simple concept when you really look at it. They are a PITA if you want to change tunings on the fly. I have one guitar that I change tunings a lot with and that one I set up with a Tremel-no and it;s fine.

I grow more and more respect for you every day.

That pickup, is the hottest, nastiest mess of a freaking pickup I have ever used in my life. :uzi:

I think just about any pickup in the world sounds better than the Tremonti pickup. He couldn't have used that thing on his albums, unless he sold his soul to the devil for the uber-awesome toanz.

Sounds like you know what else needs to be done. If you are going to stick with the heavier strings, have a tech file the nut slots accordingly....shouldn't take them long and it will make a big difference.
