New Jerry model. I think it's awesome! Love the wood combination (maple body, maple neck, ebony board) and I'm pretty much a JC fanboi and huge G&L fan, so it goes without saying. Want.

And I thought I new everything about JC. Cool to see him stick to his roots though with another G&L.

Soooo, it's bascially a Rampage - add a neck pickup and remove a floating trem. Oh, and make it pretty with the flamed maple top. But the wood, neck, fretboard and cut are the same...

Whatever happened with Cantrell and Dean?

The body shape is slightly fatter right? The upper horn looks larger. Not too into it myself but whatever. I am sure it sounds amazeballs.

Why does it have to be blue?

Why not? Looks great IMO.

And yes, I think there is a cream finish available as well.

Not sure if the upper horn is any different than a Rampage, at least to my eyes in a side-by-side comparison. But, Iooked into the specs a little...the neck profiles are different...so that's cool in a sense I suppose.

The Superhawk has been around for a while, I'm pretty sure, but hasn't been in production. I mean, you can find old superhawks on ebay occasionally. So it's not a new design really. I like it.

i'd buy a superhawk reissue but not a signature model...turns me off immediately if a product is a sig model

Oh, and the blue flame is the deluxe. The std JC Superhawk is cream like the rampage.

not a big fan of the blue or the shiny/chrome bridge...i've always loved his original g&l though!

1) too many knobs to be a Cantrell axe
2) silver hardware on blue looks very 'Off' to me
3) seymour duncan pickups...wrong
4) I strongly doubt anyone will ever see Cantrell ever play one of these. Not classy enough to replace his Pauls & not rugged enough to replace his Rampages. Seems like a G&L concept much more than a Cantrell one.
