I set mine for around 400 mS (around 1 o'clock) with about 3 repeats and the volume of the repeats quite low. It's set so if you listen for it, you hear it but it doesn't grab your attention first. I use it for 'thickening' rather than an effect.

It is funny you say that because I had it at 1 o'clock last night and seemed to work great at that spot. Unlike my digital delay pedals, this one is subtle and I really like that.
I love the Carbon Copy. How it is subtle. I have similar settings at 12 noon for Delay and Mix and very low Regen, as I really just like the 1 repeat and if there is a second, it needs to be super subtle almost not there.

400-600, same level of feedback, and mix up to where you can hear it but it's back in the mix. Such a great sound.
Sometimes it's weird - my delay mix in the bedroom produces a delay that can't be heard live. I have to crank the mix level up a bit. Then it gets dangerous...muddiness ensues.
