it sounds cool and unique, not very billy corgan-y to me though. a billy corgan sig head should just be a 800 with a built in muff, that is the corgan sound

He says, "I've never played an amp where I can just switch channels to play lead, I always had to hit a pedal". He never played a Boogie!

That amp sounds like shit for metal. All Mush. Zero tight chug, zero. Billy tries, Billy fails.

Ugh Billy
Please just burn out so I keep my good memories of the early to mid 90s

Glad to see he's still playing, that demo didn't do much for me though.

The pickups in his sig guitar are like p90s so yeah no chug there.

He had that sound for Siamese dream and pisces but every other album has had very different tones. The rig he used for the longest was the JMP-1 and strategy 500 setup even for live Siamese tones. I feel like the carstens covers a lot of his Diezel like tones to his more modern stuff than his old pedal or preamp driven stuff. I bet my singlecut would rip through it. ?

I like it. (y)
I think it sounds kinda cool and different.
There's enough there that I'd like to try one.
Keep in mind it seems what we are hearing is close micing with a 57 and an SM7.
Might sound a lot different mic'd with an R121 or in the room.
And I'm not familiar at all with Billy Corgan's catalog, so I have no idea if it sounds like anything he's ever done.

I don't know if you are trolling but..when did Billy Corgan ever use a "tight chug metal" sound?

I actually wouldn’t mind checking out what else that amp could do. Let me guess it’s $3500 or something else stupid?
