Gents,
Thought I'd throw a shout out for one of the little guys seeing as all the major players constantly get their tires pumped here on Rig Talk. They all do nice work but I have a very simple pedal board with very simple needs and I liked the idea that I could support a local guy right in my own back yard (Ottawa, Canada). That's right, it is summer here too so we do actually see our own backyards. Anyway, I didn't get anything special or out of the ordinary but when pricing what it would cost me to get the supplies to make my own cables vs. going the custom route, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices and service that I got from Casey. Excellent communication, excellent product, very satisfied customer. I had a loop box built with a toggle switch for the buffer because I was concerned that a buffer might color the sound too much. Now I'm wondering how the hell I ever played without one? Definition and sparkle are back. As for the evidence cable itself, I'm happy to say that it has helped me rediscover what I liked about the bad monkey in the first place. That pedal really does not change my tone that much at all.. just tightens and adds some boost. Great pedal. In any event, if you guys are looking for a custom pedal board solution, don't hesitate to contact Mr. Hanson. He'll get back to you promptly and will deliver the goods.
I've attached a couple pics of the cable and loop box (note the discreet toggle) . Nothing special compared to some of you cats on here but hey, it gets the job done. Gmajor II in the rack for the delays, the rest is straight up old school simple board. I'm thinking of doing away with the pedal train seeing as the one spot doesn't fit between the rails so things are just loosely fit right now. Aren't non boutique pedals exciting? (sarcasm..)
