So who's using these? What do you like so far? Some of them have peaked my interest? Do any of the ones that simulate Amps really sound that good or when you have it in person it falls short? A lot of the guys video clips sound very good.

Echorec is one of my favorite pedals. Get your Gilmour on.

I'm currently using a Belle Epoch Delay and Topanga Reverb. I like them a lot and can't really see swapping them out. I've used the Dirty Little Secret and Formula 5 as well. They make good stuff!

The Sabbath pedal sounds killer in clips but who knows in person. He also did a great vid of the Naga Viper into the RAH. The two worked really well together. Plus his Talisman plate reverb pedal sounds killer too.

strange thread timing. I just bought and received a RAH pedal for that Jimmy Page Hiwatt era. Putting together a sort of AIAB board to go into clean amps. Also, bought a BSM treble booster (not Catlinbread) pedal for Blackmore tones.

how are their echo and reverb pedals? How much range in them, don't give a shit about fancy modulation weirdness stuff (Strymon).

I like the tones I get out of them a lot. I haven't had a lot of exposure to a ton of different pedals, but I can't see replacing either the Belle Epoch or the Topanga because they get the job done well. They also get great reviews. EJ was using the Belle on his pedalboard in place of the Echoplex. Like him, I just turn the one mod knob all the way down. It's supposed to be there to mimic the tape wear on the original Echoplex.

I'm SUPER curious about the Talisman... I haven't found anything yet that really does a great plate emulation.

I'm picking up a Talisman I ordered tomorrow. Received a Naga Viper today and the initial play through was nice. Into the crunch on my Stiletto was getting some killer 70's rock/metal tones. Unleashed In The East just started coming out of every orrifice.

I also ordered a Sub Decay, Super Spring Theory pedal. Really loved some demos I heard, so hope it will deliver.

You gotta let me know about the Talisman. I just watched Andy from Pro Guitar Shop's demo and that pretty much sealed the deal.

They're OK, but they're kind of overrated in my opinion. They get a lot of hype from the petulant Seymour Duncan commune. I've gone through a few of their pedals and pretty much have tried them all, but nothing they make necessarily stands out to me as spectacular. The owner is a prick though. The last pedal I bought of their was a DLS, and I kind of liked the tone, but it had kind of a real dry, firm, rubbery feel that only became more pliable when the gain was maxed, so I called him thinking there might have been something with that pedal. However, he was pretentious and condescending, and seemed unconvinced that something could possibly be wrong with his product, so I got a refund on the P.O.S. and bought an Emma Reezafratzitz (which is a similar, Marshall type distortion pedal) and never looked back. The Reezafratzitz is a pedal that won't disappoint.

The Echorec, I have to grudgingly admit, is fairly good. I've since moved on to a Diamond Memory Lane Jr. and found more satisfaction with it tonally, but I preferred the controls of the Echorec. It is laid out pretty well and the controls function great, and the only gripe I have with it is possibly just a matter of personal taste, but I found it slightly dull. I don't mean really in a bad way, but just kind of lacked sparkle or something. It kind of reminds me of the Maxon AD999, but the Maxon is like that because it's a warm sounding delay. The Echorec was just kind of uninteresting somehow tonally.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

God bless Norway! :worship:

I've tried some of their other pedals and agree, they were meh. I've wanted a treble booster for a long time and felt the demo's i saw of it were consistently good. Plus the Talisman sounded killer (pro guitar shop demo and a Catalinbread vid) so I thought why not. I'm pretty excited to try the SubDecay. Love a good swampy spring reverb.

I guess you're talking about the Spring Theory. I played one through a port city head for a little while. There were some nice reverbs up until about 2/3 of the range. After that the reverb became very pronounced. Easy enough to use; 2 knobs 1 switch. The spring side was kind of like a spring reverb and the other toggle setting was called "Room" and it sounded like a tube reverb.

I had good experiences with their custom service. Somehow, my Topanga Reverb crapped out. I sent it to them, they said it was shorted out, and they sent me a brand new one.

I love the Belle Epoch I have. The only other pedal of theirs I've tried is the Super Chili Picoso, which I didn't care for at all. The Talisman has my full attention though...good plate emulations are scarce.

So I got a Talisman and a Naga Viper. Really like both but the Talisman has some noise issues that might be something wrong with this particular pedal. Just did a quick and dirty of one setting into the Tweed setting on my MK V. Had the pre-delay up a little to give some slap back. Play dry for a few then kick on the pedal.
