Celebratory Gear Acquisition Spree...

Well... we sold my software company a couple weeks ago... All the hard work payed off BIG TIME... 4 long hard years... YAY!!!!

So... to celebrate ( ), I've been on a bit of a gear acquisition spree this past week:

Brown Note D'lite 22 head (Dumble clone)
Metropoulos 12000 Series 1968 Era Replica Head (hand built by George at Metropoulos) added the zero loss loop and Lar/Mar PPIMV
Strymon El Capistan dTape Echo - Tape Echo Delay
John Suhr Scott Henderson Model, Olympic White Strat

I got the El Capistan and the Brown Note yesterday, but couldn't check 'em out yet - will play with 'em tonight. I'll have the Henderson tomorrow. The 12000 Series, George is gonna try to deliver in person at the LA Amp Show...

The only thing I'm wanting that I'm waiting on is a Badgerplex Vintage pre to go with the El Capistan. I'm on the builder's list, but it will probably be a couple months...

Yes, metro will have a room at the show. It will be the Plexi Replicas side though as the metro kits/parts business is being revamped. Only George's hand built replicas are gonna be at the show...

Thanks man! I've done 6 startups now. Out of that - one successful public offering, 3 successful acquisitions and 2 failures. One helluva record considering only 10% of startups ever have any success...

Thanks man! My company provides an analytics overlay and consolidated visualizations for traditional silo'd IT systems monitoring solutions that can provide proactive alerting to problems in mission critical applications and services. It is the next big thing in IT systems performance management... Crazy shit - we have 4 patents and 7 more applied for just for the analytics algorithms...
