Celestion Alnico Gold

I know I should probably ask this on TGP ( ), but what is you guys' opinion on the Celestion Alnico Gold for anything other than clean tones? Thinking about getting a 1x12 cab loaded with one

By far one of my all time fave drivers, dude. And no, this ain't just "clean tone" territory. I love 'em so much I asked about ordering a custom Bogner 4x12 with 'em. Yes, they're that good - IMHO.

Raunchy, crisp, great with gain (just not thugga-chugga death metal, although....), awesome crunch, seriously great drivers. And for the record, I think it's Danny Spitz (Anthrax) who uses them exclusively in his cabinets.

I love 'em.

1x12
2x12 and several 4x12's

So,I'm thinking one gold but whats a good in a 2x12 with it.
