Weber Legacies are my favorite speaker. I have 6 of them......and 2 more on order!

Which options did you go with on yours? Are they all the same? Mine are 65w w/30oz magnets. I just ordered another two the same way, except with 40oz magnets.
They mix really well with 50w Silverbells, by the way.

I have a 4x12 with a mixture of 30oz and 40oz 65 watters.....and the same in my Splawn 2x12. It feels good not to worry about speakers anymore!

I also had the 30 watt/30 oz but I like the 65 watters a lot more. There is quite a bit of difference tonewise between the two......even at low volumes.

Just ordered two Lynchbacks, $250 shipped. I was told by my Celestion contacts that they are a little smoother and darker than the Creambacks.
The funny thing is, I hate 80s metal and don't play metal....but I like the clips I hear of the Lynchbacks.

This guy is a good dude and nice player. Nice clips of the Lynchbacks.

Im LOVING my Lynchbacks but since I am getting a Splawn, I decided to order a Creamback to mix with one Lynchback in my Stone Age 212.
I will have one Lynchback for sale shortly if anyone is interested.

I'm going to have to check the difference between the Creamback and the G12H-65.

It's all getting so confusing with speakers and will keep you in knots. I just plug everything (except my Mesa) into a 412 HW Marshall with H30's that came in it......

Meanwhile, I have about $1600 worth of new Scumbacks to put into something one of these days......

I like the Lynchback and the clips of Creambacks better than Scumbacks.

I would love to hear a Lynchback mixed with a G12-65 in a 412 cabinet. I might have to try that one, but mixing speakers gets messy.

Update, I ended up going with Creambacks for my Stone Age. I ended up going with Lynchbacks fr my Splawn 412, but might mix them with G12-65s.

A few good ones on Celestion's Facebook page.

What led you away from mixing the Lynchback and Creamback? What's your take on how those two compare? Thanks

Creambacks are available at this point ? I havent seen them for sale anywhere... I have a quad of Lynchbacks in my Splawn 4x12 and they sound great, at the moment I like them more than greenbacks. They have a more pleasing breakup to them, the bass is a little thinner\tighter, overall it is darker and smoother as mentioned earlier. Greenbacks work great for me live though , they cut in the mix really good..I havent tried the lynch's live yet though , Im hoping they do the same.

Creambacks are not available in the states yet, only in Europe. I am only going by clips and what Rick from Celestion told me that the Creambacks are like taking the Heritage or EVH Greenback and adding a bigger, tighter bass. So, I wanted a good V30 212 which I have and a good Greenback 212 which will be my Creambacks. Then I wanted my Splawn 412 to be a blend of modern and vintage, hence the Lynchbacks. :) I find the Lynchbacks work better in a 412 than a 212 because the natural low end of the 412, helps. Otherwise I may mix the Lynchbacks with G12-65s or Creambacks in my Splawn 412 if I find it necessary.

I hear people comparing the Lynchbacks to Celestion G12T-75s. I don't hear that. I hear Greenback and maybe a little K100 thrown in.

I just rec'd a quad of Lynchbacks yesterday, but haven't plugged them in yet.
