Buying three ‘79 G12-65 T3120 speakers. He’s throwing in the fourth for free due to this issue. Any pointers on the best way to get this fixed? I’m planning to load into a Marshall 1960BX cab (will probably sell its stock greenbacks).

Doing the deal on Friday but from the photos and what he’s saying, it’s all original cones and working order except for this.

Is the wire itself still there? If it’s connected to the speaker you’re good.
Yep, as long as the wire itself is there, that tab that came off is just attached to the larger plate which remains. You could solder your wire direct on there or another little tab, etc.

You need to get a new terminal board, it will probably be the four prong kind (two to pos, two to neg). Unsolder the wires, drill a hole through the fiber board replacement and through the original, then put a small screw through them both. Reattach your wires and you're good to go. I could send you a few if you're desperate.
