I just got a Fryette PS2 & this is what happened 10 mins out of the box.

Suhr Modern + cable into Ceriatone 50w Yeti & the PS2 through a 2x12 cab with Celestion Heritage 65s. No effects or pedals & filmed with a cheap Logitech cam.

I had no idea the Yeti sounded this ballsy & thick.

Where's the Son of Yeti? Out of frame somewhere?

Sorry, my mistake. I meant Yeti 50.

Have you tried V30s yet? My Yeti 100 sounded best in my EVH cab with Chinese V30s, to my ears at least.

Never've owned any V30s, but I tried a BE100 through a 4x12 V30 cab that sounded amazing a while ago.

That's a pretty nice tidy pedalboard too.. I see you like order in your rig. I don't know what all those pedals might do but like you, I also enjoy options and have too many sitting around doing nothing.

My Randall Thrasher sounds punishing through the PS-2. Great piece of gear, indeed.

Yeah, if you get a chance and are interested, see if you can take your Yeti to GC or a friend who has a V30 cab. My Yeti 100 into that V30 cab was the only time I've ever had people come up to me after a show to praise my tone.

I have a ton of pedals & got tired of always having to swap pedals back & forth, so I build one giant home board that has over 20 pedals on it so they're all there in one place. It also looks cool. ;)

Sounds great man, Reactive Loads are such a game changer. I swear, love em.

I'd tried a few of the attenuators before like the Ultimate, Alex, Bad cat etc & all of them noticeably changed the tone so I gave up.

I tried an OX a few weeks ago & it was amazing so I ordered the PS2, which is 1/2 the price & as good, imo.

All of my amps sound so much better now going through the PS2.

Are you using the PS2 for power or just as an attenuator?

Love the PS2 but haven’t tried it as an attenuator yet. It does sound glorious for power with the GPDI.

I'm just using it as an attenuator, with the gain on 10 & volume on 7. These levels would normally get me evicted.

Cool, I need to try my Deliverance with PS2 as an attenuator.

You should also try the PS2 sometime as a power amp. It’s fantastic.

I recently got a PS-2 as well! It really is an amazing piece of gear - reactive load, attenuator and load box. So damn transparent as an attenuator too.

This is a short video I shot today with my Engl Savage into the PS2 and then into a Mesa Boogie thiele cab. Was really digging the tone. Channel and master bolume on the amp were both around 1-2 o'clock.

The PS2 is pretty great, however, I A/B the PS2 with the OX today & the OX sounded a tad more natural & open.
