Ceriatone Brown Eye...

Not an easy forum for sure, almost looks like Nik personally robbed some guys there judging by how pissed they were. Luckily there still is some consensous about Ceriatone, which I like, Nik is the culmination of how customer support should be.

I am all about copy circuits for personal use or even selling if it's a model no longer in production. Selling a product that is currently in production an available it no cool...My 2 cents. You think the amount of circtuits Nik has copied, he'd be able to come up with his own designs rather than painting by numbers.

There are literally 100's of companies that copy Marshall and Fender circuits that are still in production today and nobody bats an eye. The same can be said about guitars and pedals too.

I understand, I just wouldn't sell someone elses circuit myself.

Dave has officially made it. Lol. What's next, hosting SNL?

Because a BE 100 isn’t a fucking Marshall copy fooled with by an old guy from Argentina ??? Fucking ridiculous...

Technically Ceriatone does do his own modded Marshall tone in the yeti and chupa. He has as much right to those mods as Dave or anyone else really. A BE is not an amp I would have thought he would ever clone after reading that he would never touch a SLO but hey, purists will always go with a real BE, the rest of the commoners will just enjoy the knock off.

I find funny that Dave Friedman has a forum in here, yet people are trashing him for doing a take in the Marshall style circuit.

Nik doesn't care about this site, yet people are defending him after another one of his clones is announced as a clone of another amp currently in production.

But yeah, let's laugh at those TGP users, nothing to see here to laugh about.

If you care to actually read and comprehend, we are poking fun at all the TGP dudes, or some of them, that have their tan pants all in a bunch about defending DF and his sacred BE 100. HOW DARE THEY CLONE DAVES AMP!!!! Please. I'm sure Dave doesn't care, those Ceriatones don't sound that close to the real deal to me, and I've played a few. I've always said if you want the real deal, save up your cash and buy the real deal.

Now go put your tan pants back on and get back to TGP.
:D

I thought the Chupa was basically a rip off of the Fortin Cali?

I heard it was a Cameron HG Jose. Which is pretty similar to a Fortin Cali since it's also a Jose A variation....

Nice of you and your 78 posts to come in here and throw your weight around noob...

Maybe but where do you draw the line on intellectual property? Considering Cameron has no production run and the values amp to amp vary, one could argue that this is his interpretation of it. Everyone else is on that band wagon, why not Ceriatone. I don't see the issue here if he spent time poking around the old metro forum and taking notes. BE is a little closer to home, but there again you could make the point everyone else has made that it all started with marshall and nothing is safe from being cloned or copied there on. ( Marshall having copied fender with some tweaks etc etc)

Love how they're bent over a clone, but every boutique amp on there is a deluxe or ac30 clone. No double standards here folks.
I was on there and saw a guy talking about how great his amp sounds,it supposedly cost him $4000 and had 2 knob controls on it..thats when i packed up and left there ! all these other guys were oooing and aaawing about it..dumbasses !
