Technically Ceriatone does do his own modded Marshall tone in the yeti and chupa. He has as much right to those mods as Dave or anyone else really. A BE is not an amp I would have thought he would ever clone after reading that he would never touch a SLO but hey, purists will always go with a real BE, the rest of the commoners will just enjoy the knock off.

the chupa rips of the Fortin Cali and the Yeti Rios of the Cameron. The main difference in both is that Nik uses a vanilla depth control

I find funny that Dave Friedman has a forum in here, yet people are trashing him for doing a take in the Marshall style circuit.

Nik doesn't care about this site, yet people are defending him after another one of his clones is announced as a clone of another amp currently in production.

I don't think ANYBODY is trashing Dave Friedman. I think the majority of the trashing is towards Nik for building his own version, which seems to have ruffled feathers at TGP - I don't think many care here, either way. I don't, anyway.

I think Nik should have named it TGPSOREBE-100, or BUTTHURT-100....

How many pedals "Rip off" the TS9? An AC30? Fender Bassman? A Plexi? A Strat? A Les Paul? A Deluxe Reverb?

There's a whole lotta back and forth on this so called amp considering there isn't even a sound clip of this amp to judge the tone... Just Sayin!!!!

I agree direct ripoffs suck... but if there is no patent or trademark then I guess it is open season. Hence all the Cameron GOOP and such in the past.

BH100 (aka Butt-Hurt 100) That would have been the perfect name for it and yeah its rediculous guys are upset he came out with this ..... Its what Ceriatone does and always has done. Build amplifiers that is his (Nik) take on popular designs built by other companies , pretty similar to what every other builder does anyway they just have different marketing .

Both the Cameron has some major changes from the Jose as does the Friedman. Fortin copied the Cameron topology and design principles and at least changed component values for a more modern tone. Nick in comparison paints by numbers. Not slamming his products, but rather giving a technical evaluation
