Are there any well name(famous) players using the ceriatone chupacabra.

None I know of. I'm curious why you ask? You obviously love your VHT based on the stuff I've seen you write. I've owned both amps . Totally different amps, which is fine. But the Chup is looser, way more gain, and not as dry as the Deliverance. If you love the VHT , I'd say you wouldn't care for the Chup. Just my opinion.

Ive never played a chupacabra but from what you are saying that it has more gain the the VHT/Fryette deliverance then I would like it alot.

If your after gain, the Chupacabra delivers in spades. I love Nik's stuff. I just was looking for a bit more punch. The Deliverance had more cut and punch which worked better in a band setting. The Chup was a fun bedroom amp tho.

"Well Name"??? :dunno:

I think you mean either: Big Name or Well Known... players?

Either way: Nope. :D

Gtrwn, you said that the Deliverance has more cut and punch, interesting.Which of the two did you feel was brighter.

As they are fairly new amps, there probably aren't that many guys using them yet. Dudes will pop up eventually but it's not like they can get endorsements from Ceriatone and it's also not the kind of amp you can pickup in any city if a roady drops it on you. So they will be more limited for this kinda gig.

But if you just take them on tone, price, build etc, there isn't much that can honestly touch them new for similar dollars.

I love my Yeti. It's like the history of killer Marshall tones in one head...maybe except that scratchy, ratty blues breaker kinda tone...I can live with that
