Hey.....my budget has changed and now looking for a smaller wattage amp..non el84s. Hows the son of yeti deliver for modded marshall, pushed plexi, nice singing lead tones? Hows the touch and responsiveness? I kno the loops are just simple insert loops but i have a buffer pedal before my hardwire delay to help remedy.

Playing everything from blues, classic, to modern rock...no metal. From apt to small gigs...lots of leadwork.

Was also considering a bfg modded jca50h double deuce.

Thought about a vht d60 since similar pricepoint....but lack of loop is a deal breaker for this guy.

Thx for your opinions.

I was considering one. But I can't go any lower wattage wise than 25-30 watt. Need to catch up with the drummer and still have some headroom.

Yeah...im not worried...20watts is plenty for me. We are always micd foh...plus monitors on stage.

I have a 100 watt Yeti. It's a beast of an amp. It can get any Marshall sound I want. If it's anything like the 100 watt, you will have no problems at all. If you want, I'm sure you can send Nik an effects loop (such as a Metropoulos or Mojotone) and he can have it installed in your amp as they build it. Nik is a really cool guy, if you have any questions email him. He'll get back to you really quick.

Anyone played or owned a bfg jca50h double deuce? Bump

I had a jca22h bfg...nice amp at low volumes...but the el84s and small iron just fall apart at gig volume.
