Changing mains power on Herbert

Hey guys,

I'm possibly getting my hands on a Herbert, but it's US voltage and i'm in AUS (240v).
I've read that with some models, changing the voltage is as easy as rewiring to the transformer. But with older models, you can't.

Has anyone done this or have any insight?
