There's a photo from when he was handing out hats where the shoulder strap of a vest appears to be sticking out. If he was wearing something it was pretty lightweight and thin; very minimal.

I think it's BS that he had a vest on, unless it was super thin. I also am questioning if a bullet at that trajectory could really ricochet like that up and hit his neck? I'm not a ballistics expert

I've had a couple 30-06s in my life. The only gun I've personally fired that kicked as much was a Nagant. Both fire very very large nasty rounds.

I prefer a 308 / 7.62 over a 30-06.

I think the thing I appreciated most was that the mentioned that we as humans are not really supposed to be watching these kinds of videos. Sure, we have to see them just so we understand what happened, but I had a really hard time processing that video and I wish I hadn't seen it. Same with Iryna Zarutska. I almost cried watching both of those videos. He said "social media is a cancer" and I agree. It's doing more harm than good.
