Pretty sure it's an imprint from a decal..... Looks pretty normal to me.......


But yeah overall in general they look pretty nice with the matching headstocks IMO. More importantly they play and sound great and much higher quality than your usual crap from other brands IME even better than Fender and Fender owns Charvel.


Builds seem to be much much better than mass produced trash and garbage coming out of China or some other overseas builds nowadays too from PRS or Ibanez for example IME...... Probably only better is MIJ and some even compare these to their MIA Custom Shops

Plenty of small builders around and boutique dudes around that can make some campy guitar from a bygone era...... If that is one wants.... But yeah Charvels ain't about that.


What's wrong with a recessed Floyd...... Um you can do more and it shaves weight off, you welcome......... Win win and it just makes 100% sense



These guitars are for modern players and modern times..... As Charvels always has been

Um as said if you want some campy ass guitar pay some small builders or boutique dude 5 thousand dollars to make you a single bucker top mounted Floyd.....

Water slide decals...... Sometimes imprints like that are common.


Maybe it's just something with that color combo..... Not sure but the other one in OP for example don't have that offset or imprint and none of my other ones do other...... Who knows......


And well who really cares..... It's just a minute detail on one model that isn't even noticeable or affects anything really..... Who cares about a good quality instrument that plays or sounds great/exceptional nowadays right and nvm looks amazing as well

They had a couple with the older pointy headstock...... Problem was they cost like 3 thousand dollars or more and are Custom Shop......


Pretty steep but figure they could make like a Gun Metal Blue. Black and Highlighter Yellow with a bucker and top mount Floyd for 1,000$ and make some bank..... They would sell like hot cakes

I wish they would make some Charvels without recessed Floyds. The Jackson 85 Origin has the Floyd on top. Pretty much every Charvel is recessed which is a bummer. Still love them though!

I think they have another nitro model..... Aswani Sig is nitro maybe a few others too
