I figured this would last about as long as the last Custom Shop I had recently which was about four days, but what the hell, It's a one off. so I'll give it a shot, especially after the guy at the dealer was raving. He knows his stuff as he was a pro player. Charvel Custom Shop contacted the dealer and told them it was available if they were interested a little earlier this year. Dealer sold the guitar to a wealthier collector type client who just buys guitars and barely plays them, if at all. Traded it back for a Gretsch.
I planned to swap out the EMG for a passive, as EMG's never last with me but this one is different. Guitar impressed the hell out of me. Contoured neck heel, rolled edges on the thick killer ebony board. This thing rings out, and has that squashy feel to it where harmonics just fly off it. That sterile ENG tone is just not there.
Fretwork is as good as it gets. Not one rock with my fret rocker. I really did not expect to like it. Killer, Killer build in every way. Just wanted a lean machine since I have several other really good guitars now. You can blow up the pics by clicking and then again.
