The biggest challenge right now is the shortage of transportation. When you have record amounts of freight coming in from overseas, without the same increase in rail/over-the road freight capacity, logistics get REALLY expensive. Couple that with increasing fuel prices, and you've got a BIG expense to wrangle with right there. Then there are regulatory things - Green New Deal stuff, restrictions on "hazardous" items, increased tariffs - I think you can connect some of the dots here...
