1989 Model 4. I put a new Kahler trem on it with the locking trem allen screw. Decals dont come off and it needs the pots cleaned. Has EMG active pickups with a Bass boost knob,Tone and Vol. Has some dings and chips. I have the original tweed case but the hinges are shot and I duct taped it closed when shipping it many years ago to myself when I moved to and from Puerto Rico.

Im trying to thin out the herd and thinking if I should dump it or not

Whaddya mean decals don't come off?
They must love your decal artistry, or they've become one with the paint?

They have a thin transparent layer of clear enamel on the edges.

Yeah that sounds right. been ages since I had the neck off to see the Stamped date and model. I like it better than a floyd rose but prefer a trem on a fender strat. I replaced the hahler with a new model that has an allen bolt that can be screwed in from the rear and locks the trem. It is more like a hard tail now. Has a super flat neck.

The chip on the head stock was from when my bass player got to drunk to play and sing in the middle of our set. I turned pissed off and bumped the speaker stack neck to me as I unplugged my guitar and walked off leaving the amp on and a loud buzzing  we were playing Bob dylan and Grateful Dead songs in a mansion full of dead heads   surprised the floor didnt collapse, the Speakers were swaying back and forth from the dancing

Strange its more of a metal guitar (and looks it) but It sounds great with jazz/blues.
