Yeah it's one of those things that is either a cute birthmark or a huge hairy mole for some but overall nothing that has put me off. The builds overall are nicer than your standard Fender stuff and offer smoother and sleeker bodies/edges/corners and nicer necks too. Thinner paint finishes too and paper thin pretty much.The crooked headstock logo pisses me off.......
For the money can't complain when it comes to the important things. And the important things comes first like good feel, fast and comfortable satin finished neck, rolled fingerboard, dual graphite rods for added tuning stability, decent hardware, good pups and sound and in those departments for the money can't really complain.
Some even get hand me down quartersawn necks that didn't cut it for the EVH line pretty much. Even so quartersawn or not the necks are smooth as hell IMO and like in between a 59 LP type neck and a Wizard lll IMO. So it's got that skinny shredders feel but with some fat in the right places where it counts. Nice, fast and comfy.
