Charvel SoCal with a vintage trem, why not?

Just thinking how cool it would be to have a production model Charvel SoCal with vintage trem.
That way you could drop in a pickguard loaded with three single coils for a truer strat sound and still have that KILLER Charvel neck. I think it would be a great idea for a wild card and would sell well at their price point. Charvel are you listening?

I agree. I had a SoCal and the only reason I sold it was that I moved on from Floyds. I think we are in the minority though and understand why Charvel doesn't offer it.

I had a newer one in Pagan Gold with a Floyd. Hated that Floyd so much I had to sell it.
Really liked the guitar, but will NEVER own a Floyd or locking Tremolo guitar again. EVER.

I would like one without a pickguard and a vintage trem. Well, if it had any trem I'd block it anyway. Hardtail would be best.

They have a hardtail without a pickguard in tangerine, it's a wild card I forget which number. I really like that one by the way.

I really like this one, but the bridge is nasty. Why don't they just put a standard Fender hardtail bridge on there? Wouldn't buy one.

I love the Floyd on my Charvel, I just would like the option of a vintage trem guitar. Really comes down to me wanting a strat with three single coils and the Charvel neck.

I agree.

I think the Floyd Rose is great if you are used to do those crazy tricks and dive bombs, but thats not my case. So i guess i prefer vintage trems because they are simpler.
