V-trems are an acquired taste--a lot more work than a locking nut OFR style--but they rule

Floyds ARE an eyesore. Changing strings is ridiculous.

And I've personally never played one that stays in tune. I've played them for years. Floating and blocked. I've played MANY others guitars and none of them stayed in tune. I've watched hundreds of vids and only ever heard them stay in tune for a song or two only to have them handed off to a tech for another guitar that was re-tuned between songs.

I forever was doing the flick up sharp after some whammy abuse praying that it would be back in tune. May times it was, many times it wasn't. I don't need the hassle. It's just another thing live that I don't want to have to worry about.

(Sits back and waits for somebody to post that I'm doing it wrong and "my guitar stays in tune all night") Yup, sure it does.
