I have a clone of the Fender...works great. If I still played out I'd probably grab a more expensive one, just in case BUT I've had this one for 4 yrs and I've never had an issue. I've also tested to see how the tone is changed with it on my board, vs straight in and I can't tell a difference.
In the past, I've had a Lehle, and a Radial Twin City Bones and this one is as transparent, IMO.

IMO ...... the way you're trying to configure everything ...... you're going to want to be able to flip the phase if you need to ...

The Radial BigShot is the best one I have ever tried ..... The Ground Lift is super handy as well as the ISO switch ..... especially if you're having noise problems running stereo .....and you can flip the phase .... but it's 130 brand new

I know you don't want to hear this but don't cheap out too much when it comes to ABY pedals. I went down a rabbit hole with noise issues as you know and I even started to question my purchase of a medium grade ABY switcher and I have an MXR.
Just listened to Dave Friedman talking about this very topic.
He recommended the Radial Tone Bone switcher that has the transformer inside.

Radial bigshot was cheapest I ever used that was "good enough". That said, there is tone suck and volume loss when you engage the ISO transformer. Luckily, the ground lift was all I needed at the time... If you don't need ABY for switching, the radial shotgun is great for always on signal distribution. If you need the switching, the Lehle Dual SGoS is the best I've ever had, followed by the discontinued Voodoo Lab Amp Selector. I've heard good things about the Radial Twin Cities and Fulltone units but have never tried them. I've tried the morley, MXR and others and those all introduced ground loops to my rig that at the time I couldn't correct as they did not feature ground lift at that point, perhaps they do now?

I'm running stereo now with my tverb and boss ms3. I'm using my windsor as a slave to the tverb. Now that I have my pv ultra combo to head finished-that's what I'm going to use to power my pre. I'm thinking guitar->ABY-->A to my preamp(dry)......B--->ms3 which then goes to the tverb and is my existing stereo setup with effects(Wet Wet). I'm leaving out boosts and wahs, but that's basically it in a nutshell.

Won't a Boss LS-2 split your signal cleanly. I had one years ago and as I remember it did the job quite well. But I was on drugs back then so my suggestion might be askew.
?

You need a ground lift and phase switch.

Isolation transformers if implemented correctly has less tone suck.

I wish Voodoo Lab would come out with the updated version.
