I'm looking into some cheap great sounding pedals....... you know not more than 70bucks or so.....

could be Delays, Chorus, Reverbs, Fuzz, OD, etc etc etc..... no limitations....just based on your own experienced....

I have a cheap Danelectro CoolcAt Transparent Overdrive that I really like how it sounds....

I like my Marshall BluesBreaker II OD, MXR Dyna Comp, OLD Boss DD2 mij pedals.

Here's a clip w/ DD2 and BB2. BB2 is in front of an Egnater TOL100, and the DD2 is in the loop.

I've got a Danelecro Fab distortion I really like, think they are 15 bucks new...Arion phasor is another good sounding cheap pedal

I like the GFS pedals. Right now I use the Greenie as a boost, but it does a lot more. I used to have the Brownie, and that thing was rad. Wish I wouldn't have sold it. Did a good job at the "Marshally" sound. www.guitarfetish.com. Can't beat them for $50.

Phase 90 .... just a great pedal. That and a wa can go a long way.

second vote for bad monkey.. had expensive boosts and really wanted to say i play XYZ boutique or designer OD but in the end that little simmion bastard kept making its way back in front of my amp. tone shaping possibilities and nice tight low end make it a winner. More organic sounding than the boss stuff to my ears. Gary Moore played one too!

Vox Valve Tone...a friend who is an original TS-808 snob couldn't tell them apart in a blind test through an old Deluxe Reverb.

+1 on the bb-2. does the jtm thing pretty well in most amps i've tried it in front of.

I absolutely love when I find a pedal on the cheap that sounds great!! Mi Audio Blues Pro Overdrive, one of the best drive pedals I own and paid less than 80 used, Hardwire DL-8 delay, awesome delay pedal that can be had under 90 used. MXR Distortion III gets notable mention!

if u need an actuall full distortuin pedal the cool cat metal by danelectro is $40 and sounds way better than some 200 dollar ones........

which one would you guys choose? DD-3 or Hardwire DL-8? both used of course

Digitech Hyperphase. Awesome pedal. You can get some really cool sounds and is more "tweakable" than an MXR. I bought mine off of ebay as a demo for $25.

Try to find one of the old ibanez soundtank digital delay pedals. It's a real nasty digital delay, but in a good way.

Some GCs still have the $30 MXR Classic Overdrive pedals and $40 Classic Distortion.
They were limited run pedals. I bought both of them and am very happy with them, especially the classic OD. Its actually a copy of the MXR custom shop GT-OD AND Zakk overdrive! (confirmed by MXR) It has a small switch on the underside of the circuit board which switches between the two circuits. Not many people know about that.

The DeltaLab effects sound really good for the $ as well. Especially the chorus.

Excalibur Tone Screamer Pedal (with the correct chip inside) ~ 40. Sounds awesome

Excalibur Analog Device (analog delay, 350ms) ~ 70

Ultimate Drive by Thomann (OCD clone) ~ 30 (60 in the US search Joyo or so)
