Cheap pedal power?

Has anyone used the Donner or Joyo pedal power units? Durable? Problems? I like the bright LED short circuit/power indicators. They have 10 isolated outputs and are way cheap compared to the Voodoolab stuff. I'm looking to make individual pedal boards for my various amps so it would be nice to save some dough with a couple of these.

From the reviews and questions posted, doesn't look like they are truly isolated power supplies.

After a little more research I think this may correct. Seems like some false advertising though.

I looked at those too and the consensus was that the outputs are not isolated. I ended up with an MXR Iso Brick which is a little cheaper than Voodoo Labs.

Cheap pedal power equates to a lot of noise in your rig. Buy right one time, the first time, and you will be a lot happier and save yourself a lot of frustration.

For the most part I would agree but isn't isolated power the same regardless of the price of the unit?

I got the BBE SupaCharger and have been happy with it. I learned of the Decibel 11 unit right after I bought it and was offered a huge discount, as they had just become a client at my then job. But I didn't need one by then. Will check them out if I need to replace my current one.

I just started looking at the DB11 stuff. Saw it on the Lukather rig rundown. It seems be able to put out more power for multiple high draw pedals. That's why Lukather uses it over the PP2+. If I'm going to have to spend the money I may have to strongly consider the DB. The features of the MXR look good on paper but I heard build quality isn't great and I don't like that it needs a wall wart. Also in the running is the Walrus Audio stuff. Guess there's no such thing as clean cheap power.

Not at all.
