Cheapish amp for death metal

Finally arrived . Have to say I’m impressed . This thing slays at the price point ! . Sorry couldn’t figure out how to rotate the picture .

I picked this thing up to build a cheaper metal rig . Had to sell my diezel lil Fokker to save some $$ fwiw this thing can hold it’s own with most of the higher dollar boutique high gainers I’ve owned .

Yeah. I have had a bogner, Diezel, SLO, Monomyth, etc. My rg1503 with a few eqs definitely kicks their ass for death metal. Now, If i would have used the rack eq with one of them, it may have been a different story. And most of those amps had a better more organic voicing for powerchords or single notes, but, this amp is badass especially with pms and tracking, and would be hard to replace. In all fairness to those other amps, though. I am running two boosts, and two gates on top of the para eq before the amp and a rack in the loop. It is hammered dog shit for tone playing classic rock until i disengage the rack eq, which luckily i have on a footswitch, lol.
