  !!! He makes that guitar look huuuuge.

It's almost depressing how young kinds are getting sooo sooo talented, in guitar, skateboarding, drums, everything! Slow down!

How the fuck is he even doing that ... I can barely play it and even though I have stubby fingers, am sure my hands must be a ways bigger than his ... I guess practice

Makes you wonder if they're born, pop out and dad goes 'Here! You will become the guitar god I never was!'

Just speculating.

LMAO!!!! Makes you wonder how good he'll be in 10-20 years!!! That rules!!! and hes singing on top of it!!!

That's what I'd do. The kid would never be allowed to leave the house. 16 hour practice days from birth... By 4, the kid would be playing "Fives" note for note...

-Vai?  I didn't know you had a kid?! (Don't know if he acctually does but whatever   )

Seriously though, all the specialists in stuff like this go unrecognised so much - I mean like, take one of my favorite guitarists Rusty Cooley, say that to an average Joe and it's like, who??? The guy must've played some mental hours to get that good, then say to someone Brian May and they give you ohhhh, greatest guitarist in the world! He sure can play! (Which I'd not argue against as I love his stuff but I think you get my point).

Kinda like Mr Diezel; works his socks off for what he loves but I doubt he's rich from it. But he seems happy so  I am by NO means implying money = success.

I am not Vai (of course... :D ), although I did take lessons from him for awhile when he was living in Sylmar in the early 80s...

Steve does have two sons that I know of...

Fucking hell! Awesome man, I'm getting a lesson with a drumming god of Death Metal (George Kollias) in 2 weeks but Vai... That's pretty killer man

prodigy for sure....love his munchkin voice. "We represent...the lollipop guild, the lollipop guild, the lollipop guild, and in the name of, the lollipop guild.....we wish to welcome you to munchkin land!"

    :D

It makes you wonder how he does the stretches on the first five frets like that. "not that he's stretching across five but shit that main intro part is a big stretch, obviously he must have to slide his hand to do it. Or I guess he could play the d on the open d string. But still, his hand is tiny.
