This thing is great.....love the different colored tuners too. This would make a great wall piece for the new shop.

Yeah, not as rounded... and its cut off way too deep and at the wrong angle by the volume knob. Not very accurate - cool though...:

It is true that Ed has stated many times that he ruined the guitar by cutting out the body. He said it destroyed it's tone and sustain and that is why he added those metal turnbuckles (to add mass) things to try and compensate, but unfortunately couldn't. Those old Ibanez Destroyers were badass. I would much rather have an old Ibanez Destroyer than any Roman, let alone a Roman copy of one.

To each his own, but why anyone would pay $5,500 for that is beyond me.

Nope, looks badass. If I had the coin I'd rock the shit out of it. Nice score.

Sorry, but that guitar is a fucking hideous abomination of an ibby destroyer. DNW.

I'm a player so I've taken myself out of the equation.
This is just a collectors piece. A copy of a piece of history. Maybe not a good one, but....
We all know ED said it sounded terrible. It is what it is.

Exactly, it's a collectors piece. I hear what the others are saying, although the comment that someone wouldn't pay $5 for it is hysterical, but I can see why someone might want it.

We all know Ed said a lot of things about how he got his sound...

if I recall the Ibanez destroyer never sounded the same after removing the chunk of wood. I think Eddie said it killed it, don't think it was used much afterwards.

I guess if your an Eddie fanboi $5k is alright, its not entirely accurate repro but pretty cool. I'd rather have a regular destroyer not hacked up and given an ugly paint scheme myself ;)

It's an inaccurate copy of a guitar that is well-known for the fact that Ed didn't like it. Personally this replica has no appeal and its monetary value to me would be close to zero. My 2c.

Isn't this the case with ALL replicas? How many metal heads are going to buy an SRV replica? Probably not as many as would be bought by SRV freaks.
