Totally get it, it’s his property and he has every right to ask for it what he so desires.
Just more a personal observation on how valuable those bolt on stars have become!

There was a pre pro EVH striped Charvel (made before Ed threatened a lawsuit) for 10K; it sat for a LOOONG time. Not sure if it sold or the guy pulled it...but a pre pro striped Charvel is worth way more than an early production star. Imo.

I love stars but only with Jackson/charvel pointy headstock or the hockey stick headstock like the rope latvaala dog (which might be one of the sexiest ESPs ever)
