Chicago Bears one step closer to leaving Chicago

Terrible news if true but usually when stuff or rumors like this happens it's sort of like a warning to the politicians to get off their lazy ass and start doing shit in this case a new Stadium for the Bears.

IMO too what's shown to improve teams aside from Stadiums are top of the line health/workout/recovery facilities..... New Stadiums don't make for a better team but they don't hurt either in that sense and the idea should be to make a better team and organization aside from just making a New Stadium.

wow that sucks.
how far away will they be from The Colts
well at least not in the same conference

“We” don’t want them. This is a shell game. Pretend to move, beg for support elsewhere, use the chatter to drive investment in the current market. Pfffttt… They’re just wasting people’s time. No one is buying into the “Hammond Bears”. Sound like a flag football team…

The flip side of what I posted above is that NW Indiana is a shit hole, so it’s not surprising the people/businesses there would welcome the influx of cash it would bring.

You got that right. From about Portage and west to Chicago it's dingy, dirty and dilapidated.
I finally went to a casino in Hammond and it was unreal: step outside the casino doors and it's genuine ghetto.
And it would be unbelievable to have the Bears in Indiana: a small fly-over state with 2 (two!) NFL teams.

I kinda hate the initiative - I think it’s a stunt, but it would have the potential to pull a former steel economy out of the gutter. I think it has zero chance of happening, but 🤷

Yeah, NFL teams have played that game many times. Sometimes they get a new stadium and stay put, sometimes they move.
A previous "plan" had them building a new stadium waaay out in the Chicago 'burbs.

If they move to Indiana....... You know what that means......

Indiana Bears SweetWater Stadium 🏟️

But, are they? This feels like nothing more than a stunt, wasting people’s time to force Chicago to pony up. 🤷

Fucking Governor of Chicago with his WokeTard BS giving the Bears an excuse to go to Indiana......

I'm sorry but if you want to keep the Bears in Chicago...... Your bitchass is going to have to pay for a new Stadium and facilities using tax payer dollars. That's just how it works with any and almost every major league or big league organizations and that is reality :dunno:
