CE-2....old school all the way!
Thanks for all the input everybody.

The old Boss sound is essentially what I want (should have just kept my old one) so why not go with the real deal? Old CE-2 on the way

FLESH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fucken love this!

The 80s outfits and hair aren't my thing, but those guitar tones and song RAWK!

Speaking of chorus with distortion, I'm now using my Electro Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger to split my signal to stereo (wet/dry)to two amps running at the same time. It puts a big rich slow swirl behind my guitar tone. Sounds wicked. And not really big 80s at all- I'm not a fan of that LA 80s sound.

My favorite chorus is also my favorite flange ....
The yellow Ibanez FL9 ....
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s ... =firefox-a

REGEN off and DELAY TIME max ..... and it does a pretty good chorus(most flanges can do this). The Boss BF2 also is very good ....

I just like the sound of the FL9 better than most.

 I never thought to try that little trick b/c I had a chorus on my board. I had one of those and I LOVED that Flanger! Just sounded so much more organic than any of the others. I may just have to get one again now.

More chorused tone to give you a woody, even more than the young bloke that gets his cherry popped below...

That's actually a rackmounted Roland SDD-320 Dimension D. The Boss DC-2 Dimension C is almost similar.
I know it's 80s all over yet I love it!!!

And yes, the Dimension D was also used (with a Rockman) for the Flesh for Fantasy clean tone, as stated by Steve Stevens himself.
