I feel sorry for him. He is trapped in the past and will never be able to get out. This has train wreck written all over it.

I think you described about 80% of the people posting here...

"Hey, FU man. EVH never played a Vox. Doesn't matter what is in the photo."

I had no idea they were ever big anywhere. I lived in Germany for a while in 1988 and 1991-92. I hung out with lots of metalheads and am sure none ever mentioned WASP to me.

LOL, I left in 88'!

They were big like 85'-86' timeframe. Their "peak" was probably 86' when "Blind in Texas" came out, etc. They didn't maintain it though like other bands. Ratt, Crue, etc. kept rising.

They were a bit heavier so it wasn't something the girls in our class were kicking back and listening to. No ballads.

WASP made the mistake of having Slayer open for them in 1987. Slayer was promoting Reign in Blood at the time. The tour was notorious for Slayer fans sticking around to boo the hell out of WASP lol They never fully recovered from that embarrassment in the eyes of many fans.

To their credit, WASP faired better on their 1985 (I think) tour that had Armoured Saint and Metallica (!!!) as the opening acts. The first WASP album is cool and pure heavy metal. Soon after they went fairly glam and softened up the music quite a bit.
I saw that tour, Slayer blew them off the stage, and their fans were absolutely brutal in their disapproval of WASP, myself included.

That's good enough for me! She was something else... now though? Maybe looking a little closer to his trans am but that is neither here nor there. She's had a fun life.

Alot of people don't realize he was a marine too. He was like 6' 5" or something like that. Man, I would have been scared to death to get in a brawl with him at the chowhall. LOL

Yeah, Lita was married to Tony Iommi and then married to that lead singer from Nitro as well. It's funny, I just watched a video of her talking about the time her ex-boyfriend broke in to her apartment thru the window while she was laying on the floor with EVH drinking, etc. She felt something kicking her leg and thought it was Eddie trying to be funny. She looks up and the dude is standing there kicking her leg. LOL

Iommi and Lita were never married. She also had relationships with .. Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Nikki Sixx, Eddie Van Halen, Glenn Tipton, Paul Cook, Dee Dee Ramone, Richie Blackmore and the list goes on.
I almost feel sorry for Chris tapping that

Lots Ford is a terrible person. Pretty sure that singer from Nitro has custody of their children.

Yep,that's how I felt after reading her book. I was never a fan of her music since by '84 I was deep into the beginning of thrash. But damn if the hair metal chicks in the 80s were not the yummiest bits of fun to be with.

I will cop to it. Headless Children was a pretty good album in my opinion. They had some really cool stuff on it. The Heretic at about 3 minute mark has a really cool melodic riff.

Good lord!

Man, all of these people wanting to make a pilgrimage to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and all you have to do is have sex with Lita and opens up a vaginal musical journey....

  ... I guess in her defence she said all the rockstars were happy to fuck as many groupies as possible so she decided instead of hit male groupies she would go for "famous" guitar players instead   I like her honesty I guess

Yep. Even then, “I would”... She was far from hideous.

Man... I must be the oldest guy in this group or something. I loved WASP! That first album kicked ass! I had it on cassette and played the crap out of it. The second album "The Last Command" was okay, but didn't have the same drive. It was definitely more commercial.

This would be really fun to watch if it had a lot of early WASP material on it... But as someone already stated, it's probably more of a recent focus on his life.

I didn’t know that Lita was such a dirty whore. I like her more now.

Thank you!!! Thought I was losing my damn mind. LOL. I still have a ton of W.A.S.P. songs on my IPod when I go running. I have "Scream Until You Like It", "Blind in Texas", "Wild Child", and a newer song called "Scream" from their last album.

That first album has some great songs on it. They were a bit hard to characterize. Was like an Alice Cooper stage show and their music was a bit heavier than the other stuff out during that time like Ratt, Dokken, etc.

I remember when I was younger I used to think that Blackie must be some kind of crazy, dumbass. He is actually a pretty smart guy and knows what works, etc. For that band to still even exist right now is pretty amazing. Here is that song "Scream" that just came out a few years ago:

I guess there's still a few of us out there! LOL
I actually have a W.A.S.P poster up in my music room. Man... That was my freshman year and I just thought they were really heavy and cool. Being a big KISS fan as a kid, I thought the image and blood drinking thing definitely bit on KISS' schtick. But it was kind of cool homage at the same time.

You guys aren't alone. WASP was my favourite band without question from 1985 until 1991ish and are still in my top 4. I think out of all the bands I listen to they have the most albums in my "great" list than any other. I can say there is are only 2 (technically 3) albums of theirs I don't really like..The Neon God (both) and Dominator ... they just don't grab me at all but all the rest are great. Babylon is outstanding and Golgotha is good (but the "preaching" side of it gets a bit much to handle)

Shit I even LOVE Kill, Fuck..Die a LOT

Wow, top 4! Yeah I get what you are saying about the "preaching" side. I consider myself a religious/spiritual person and was blown away when I saw some of the newer videos. I know he does "stories" though and themes.

W.A.S.P. just had some great riffs, etc. and there was something about Blackie's voice that just fit that type of music so well.
