Mostly I sound the same within reason on whatever guitar. Sure I can get a bit more twang on a Tele or sound more like Chet on a Gretsch but mostly I do my practice on a Strat because it's comfortable to play on a lounge (sofa US). Sometimes I go through a phase where I play nylon - ie a Godin Multiac. If I had to pick one guitar I'd say Strat.
The europeans are scared shitless to visit TX thinking it's like some kind of death sentence at the end of a barrel. People are more respectful here because most people have a gun on them or in their vehicle. I've seen two dykes with a lever gun in the back seat. If you are driving rural south TX or hunting down near the border you BETTER have a rifle in your rig. How about the freedom to be able to defend yourself from the hordes you complain about with the best personal protection tools available?
No matter how much I hate "the hordes" I couldn't shoot them unless perhaps there was an official war. I hate the demographic shift - I don't hate individuals. I get that day to day you'd have to be unlucky to get shot in the US but it's still an order of magnitude more likely there than here.
It's not about shooting the hordes, it's about protecting yourself and your family. Kind of a male obligation to protect those you love the most if you are a traditional guy. Morning brother. Trying to figure out how to spin the handle off my yard hydrant. It’s connected directly to the PVC water service pipe. I got giant pipe wrenches and have the standpipe backed up but that mother fucker is on there and not budging. My usual solution is heat but I’m afraid of it transferring down to the bottom where it connects to the PVC.
It's probably welded on there with scale if your water is anything like mine. If I leave a hose connected for a year I need a pipe wrench to get it loose at all.
If we're talking invading hordes, I'd rather have a full auto M249 SAW or the newer XM250; belt-fed.
The SAW would be a dang good choice but I'd personally rather have a M240 Bravo/FN MAG myself if we are talking belt feds. That's pretty much my dream gun all the way around anyways. I'd use it for hunting if I had one, just not on full auto, lol. I like 7.62x51. I liked my FAL but it was pricey to shoot.
Well my neighbor across the street came and helped. I used big ass pipe wrenches and a 3' section of chain link fence post as a cheater. Came right off no problem.
