For you older guys….during his Beato interview he took some crap for the solo being so low in the mix…I believe this is the one in particular….he was incredibly intimidated because he had Eric Johnson and I can’t remember who else play on his album. But here in this video he kinda lets go on it and you can finally hear him…dude can play….anyway I’m sure there are better examples out there and the song is early 80’s cheese but still cool to hear it with a solo….

 
I think this was like 81 maybe ?….if you ever hear it on the radio you literally can’t hear the solo….a note here and there….that’s it…
Released in 79…damn. Can’t remember who else played on that album…Larry Carlton?
 
my father was a dj back in the day and every week would go to the record store and get whatever new releases, i wanted the new Kriss Kros record and my father came home with some record from this dude, it might have been the first time i ever said "what the fuck is this bullshit!?" at 9 years old :LOL: i think i still have my kriss kros tape which i ended up getting after much bitching

Got a good tone and rips pretty good. I’ve always appreciated him for good song writing. Arthur’s Theme is such a good melody.

I remember that song came out. This live version gives me a lot more appreciation for his music. Ahh maybe just reminiscing my childhood. CC sounds good. That whole era of music sounds good in my opinion. I loved the late 70 early 80s. Just some really good shit. And no fuckers…. I don’t wear tan pants. Zebra assless chaps for me.
