Something a bit different for the forum!

I present a Blast from the Past....Keith Moon steals the show with his erratic energy...

I was a teenager in the late 80's but going back and listening to the 70's stuff really amazes me how much great music there was and all the bands sounded so different , yet they were all extremely talented!

there were a few TV shows that showcased bands, before MTV; Beat Club, Midnight Special, TOTPS (top of the pops), Old Grey Whistle Stop,...

Must have been a great time to be around back then. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and see all those great bands and pay like 15 bucks to see them in concert or whatever it was...:) Last concert I saw with my wife was almost 200 bucks a ticket and that wasn't even good seats.. Insanity!

I remember paying around $8 to see bands like Kiss, Aerosmith, etc., and as low as $6 to see general admission shows (no assigned seats), for Kansas, Marshall Tucker, Cheap Trick,... but gas was around $0.65 a gallon, and minimum wage when I started working was around $2.65 or so...for perspective

I never got into King Crimson for whatever reason? Possibly like Frank Zappa as it was just a bit to trippy for me I guess

Drop some acid and drift away...:D
