I've tried doing some searches about the clean channel on the back of the brown eye amp and haven't been able to find any clips or reviews on this. If anyone wants to give their 2 cents or has a clip I'd love to hear it. I plan on ordering my brown eye amp either tomorrow or friday and am really interested in the true clean but just want to know if It's worth it for what I'm expecting out of it. I'm hoping to be able to get fender blackface style cleans and be great quality for recording. Am I dreaming?

The circuit is a Blackface Fender slightly changed. Sounds great.

It sounds great, but consider that you are running through EL34s and most likely a 4x12 cab. It's a bit more muscular, less pristine sounding than, say, running into a stock Deluxe Reverb. It has more spank and chime than a stock Marshall without a doubt though and will work well for just about any "clean" style...country, funk, etc. Crushes for blues as well...I like the extra "balls" better than any of my Fenders for tough sounding blues/blues rock.

Awesome I like what I'm hearing. I'm getting my brown eye amp with the clean on the rear of the amp. Should work out well since I'm going to be using a scumback 2x12 cab with the adjustable back so I can go from closed back to open back in a second.

is the clean channel foot switchable if it's on a kitchen sink Marshall mod?
