What do you guys like or have had success with on cleaning a grill cloth? It’s a beverage stain, probably coffee etc. I’m trying to sell a great condition cab and figure if I could remove the stain it would show better.

If you have basic tools and a stapler, replacing grill cloth is pretty easy and its not that expensive on Amazon.

Really depends on what it’s made out of brother.. Few different methods to try.

First always try a magic eraser lol make sure it’s wet of course..

If you have a flooring store near you specially a “Shaw or Tuftex” dealer look for one of their cleaners.. typically called “R2X” here’s an amazon link incase you don’t want to hunt it down:

Could try naptha as @Floyd Eye mentioned.. that shits amazing for many things. 😍

If you know the specific stain type follow the methods in the attachments below if you’re really on a mission…

If it’s Nylon… well… good luck it may be “permastained” say fuck it & know it only adds character 😏

I toyed with idea when I was thinking of changing it for aesthetic reasons but YouTube always makes it look easier until it isn’t. I just pictured getting a warp or weird pattern angle somewhere. Ultimately I don’t care for the speakers, so instead of turning the cab into a more vintage Marshall look, I decided best to sell the cab, rather than go through selling the speakers, buying replacements etc.

I might try some spot remover we use for when the dog pukes that works well on rugs we have.

Mist the grill cloth with windex. Do not spray it so heavy that it wets the speakers. I do a few light mists.

Let it dry.

Vacuum the grill cloth using the brush attachment.

Works pretty well.
