Not so….. the Nations Report Card and actual science say so not me.

Thanks to Biden/Kamala children suffer the lowest education since any Generation since the 70s.

Unlike Woke BS, Nu-Science and Democrat Socialist lies the real numbers and real science dont lie and Its quantifiable.

Yea I dunno about all that.

Yea I dunno about all that.
Hey I thought you were all about education and science you know…… it’s not me saying so its the Nations Report Card and hard cold data and real science.

I guess if it doesnt fit with the Woke Bible or Nu-Science the far Left throw out real science and education in favor of WokEducation and Nu-Science.

Being Woke is more important than an actual real education for some…… Meanwhile children have been robbed of a quality education thanks to the Woke Left and Biden/Kamala and suffer as a result…… this is what the actual data and science shows.

Children deserve a quality education Unlike what Biden/Kamala provided in a below average education for all children…… President Trump will put children 1st and their education 1st and make sure reading/math levels improve along with what actually matters and that is a quality education for all American children and remedy the past administrations failures in letting kids in America down……

With President Trumps Educational Reform the important things matter first and that is reading, writing, maths, science and providing an actual quality education for children in America and the future of our country ^_^

Yea I still don’t know about all that

Yea I still don’t know about all that
It’s not that hard to understand.

Real Science and Data from The Nations Report Card show the failure of the Biden Administration to provide quality or even an average level of education for children…… he and Socialist Democrats robbed an entire Generation of a quality education thanks to Woke Policies……

Its just fake rage on the part of Socialist Democrats and they will never admit to this I figure……. Even when data and real science shows so.

Its hard to take anything you say or people on the Lefts side regarding education or actual science seriously when none of you actually cared or actually care about childrens education as it showed under the Biden Administration…….no one on the Left was alarmed by any of this and they simply pretended it wasn’t happening or isnt happening and still do….

In fact the Biden Administration and Woke Policies destroyed childrens future, their education and robbed them of the education they deserved in favor of Woke Education/Nu-Science as the data and real science shows.

IMG_3168.png

No one should take the side of those with a Left Woke agenda regarding math or science…… or education for that matter seriously……

Because the Left Woke dont actually believe in actual math, science or education or care about it.

They have simply abandoned it, Logic and Reason in favor of WokeDucation and Nu-Science…..

Science and education dont matter in WokeMerica and no one should take anything they say seriously regarding those subjects on any level
:dunno:

Like a few have stated on this thread, the weather and climate have been changing since the Earth was formed.

We had a weather event in the Finger lakes region of NY that is pretty unusual.

Others chimed in about weather they have had to endure. Comments made from others about changes in climate and weather they've noticed in their regions.

I mention more and more farmers in my region at his point installing drain tile in fields.

But for fucks sake, why does it have to go woke, political, Trump etc...

Retarded Brad Pitt and fucking Dan just has to add his two cents and roll with it.

You are both fucking nitwits.

Dan, I at first didn't mind you, but holy shit, every bit of grief you get you fucking bring on yourself.
You fucking deserve it.
Not sure Ive seen anything like it.

Its annoying. Off putting. And if any of you really knew anything about those topics I doubt you'd be fucking landscapers...

Last fucking thing I wanted was a political chat.
Fucking nitwits.

My area has actually been experiencing milder temperatures. The last few years we were hitting the 90's in May and pushing the 100's going into June. This year the temps were still mostly in the 80's during May and now are just in the lower to mid 90's.

That's just temperature. Humidity on the other hand is a different story. Of course the gulf South is always going to be humid, but holy shit. This year it seems like it's been pretty high. That just makes the "feels like" temperature that much higher. You walk outside for 5 seconds and are loaded with ass sweat. After cutting grass I'm not sure if I'm soaked with sweat or humidity my shirt absorbed from the air. We've been having more quick afternoon showers this year compared to the past few too.

This is all normal rotation of weather patterns for us here though. We haven't had any extreme events, at least not until a Hurricane decides to head towards us.

Since it's part of the topic this is my take on climate change.
  • Climate change on a geologic scale is obviously a real thing. The earth has historically been about 18 degrees warmer on average than it is now. Technically we're in an ice age. I haven't kept up with the data but I think we are scheduled/predicted to be coming out of it now; or at least coming out of a mini one. IMO this is a partial cause for any short term climate change we are seeing. We don't have the most pinpoint data to know how climate and weather patterns change on a short scale. We just have data that says here it was cold, then here it was hot. Not a lot in between that shows what happens year to year.
  • Man made climate change is a real thing too. Heck, in the past bacteria has drastically influenced the global climate. So it's kind of short sighted to think people don't have some influence on the global climate. For me, the point of contention is how much have humans impacted the climate. I'm of the opinion that humans have NOT impacted the climate near as much as being portrayed. Yes, there is some correlation. But correlation does not equal causation; or in this case sole causation.
  • Unfortunately anything to do with climate change has been politicized. So instead of letting the data lead us to conclusions, it's been switched to this is what they want the conclusion to be so make the data fit that. Then you throw in "feel good solutions" that really do nothing [or make pollution worse]. Or dumbass taxes... We give the gov't money and magically everything will be fixed. Of course people/agencies have their own agenda that may or may not have anything to do with climate change; even though they say it does. Things like that and no wonder people are highly skeptical of the science/data. Also have to factor in how any solutions will affect industry and economy. Can't just say ok everything's electric now and devastate the oil & gas industry over night.
  • I won't drag the subject any more into the political area, so I'll just sum my thoughts up here. There is geologic and short term time scales for climate change and there's not enough data to make any pinpoint, concrete conclusions on either. Human influenced climate change is only a small piece of the picture and we're not even sure how many pieces there are or what the full picture is supposed to be. The best we can do now is protect the planet in ways that make sense and won't wreck nations' economy/industry.

I can respect that.
I appreciate the response.

I feel like climate change can be more of an "agenda" these days unfortunately.

Monday's Phelps tornado was officially rated EF-2. This is what we consider a "Strong" tornado, of which did not carry a Tornado Warning at the time. It begs a valid question, how does an EF-2 tornado get missed? There are many variables meteorologists look at and assess when trying to determine whether a storm is producing (or capable of producing) a tornado. There is perhaps no more important tool than radar. And that's where things get dicey in parts of WNY.

We have three radar sites we lean on in our region. Buffalo, Binghamton and Montague. They're placed in areas that attempt to best provide blanket coverage of any given region. In the Phelps area (and much of the Finger Lakes), we find ourselves in a bit of a "dead zone". It's not that we don't get radar data. It's that all three sites are so far away that we don't get quality low level sampling. Radar sends out a pulse of energy. It travels at an angle, which means that beam is sampling the atmosphere are increasing height with distance.

In the case of Phelps, none of these radars can sample anything under 6,000 feet. That's not particularly helpful in a situation like Monday evening where the lowest few thousand feet are critical in assessing whether a thunderstorm is producing a tornado. Mind you, this isn't just an issue in WNY. There are many locations that suffer from a similar issue. And to be fair, it's only an "issue" that really manifests as particularly problematic during cases like yesterday when we have a rare tornado. That's not something we deal with often in the Finger Lakes, but certainly have more so recently.

Folks in Rochester are familiar with a similar issue during winter. Buffalo's radar is too far away to sample our shallow lake effect snow bands. The beam overshoots the snow and we're not able to "see" anything on radar. Similar concept here but with much more significant implications.

At the end of the day, radars aren't cheap. But if I ever win the lottery, I have an idea for my first big purchase.n

Climate has always changed. However, the rate at which it is changing now has only been documented after some catastrophic event like meteor impact. It has never been this hot, or had CO2 levels this high since humans have existed. And that is 100% due to burning fossil fuels.
That's not political. It's just facts.

The current rate of climate change is happening much faster than any past natural climate shifts documented in geological records. While the Earth's climate has naturally changed over long periods, the current rate of warming, primarily driven by human activities, is unprecedented in the past tens of thousands of years, according to NASA.

Alright guys, let’s keep this simple and honest.

You don’t have to trust politicians or activists. Just look around. The weather’s getting more extreme. Droughts, floods, wildfires—none of this used to happen like it does now. That’s not a left-wing opinion, it’s just fact. Farmers are feeling it. Insurance companies are adjusting rates because the risks are higher. The military has even called climate change a national security threat.

Oil companies—the ones making billions off fossil fuels—have admitted in their own reports that burning oil and gas changes the climate. They’ve known it for decades.

This isn’t about hating trucks or shutting down the economy. It’s about facing reality and making smart choices so our kids aren’t stuck with a broken planet.

We can be pro-industry and still admit when something’s causing harm. Recognizing the problem is the first step toward fixing it.

Am I Dan or retarded Brad Pitt in this scenario? I’ve been called both.

Anyways I stand by my statement. Sorry that someone made it a Trump Biden thing which it is not. Scientific research has been getting cut for like 60 years, and it shows.

climate change is certainly a thing, but it’s a slow moving thing. El Niño/La Niña patterns are probably more responsible for the “weird” weather we see here in the norteast (and other places). The patterns have become more erratic and extreme due to climate change though

Anyways, hope your day gets better I guess. I don’t fucking know lol

Insurance companies are adjusting rates because the risks are higher.
This is something that has been swirling in my head since it happened.

A couple years ago in Canadaigua, NY a creek flooded creating massive damages to a residential area.
One of the big topics was no one had ever carried flood insurance on their homes.
The govt. had to step in a declare an emergency if I remember correctly to help our the homeowners?

Are we now going to be obligated at some point to add tornado insurance to our already high premiums?

Hey folks, quick real talk on climate – no politics, just straight facts:

1. You feel it in the mud – The lakes I fish are either dried out or flooding. Drought one year, extreme rain the next. That didn’t used to happen like this.

2. Farmers and outfitters aren’t making it up – When crops get smoked by heat or frost in the wrong season, or wildfires mess up hunting areas, it’s not some agenda. It’s reality on the ground.

3. This is about risk management – Insurance companies are charging more because they’re paying out more for floods, fires, and storms. They don’t care about politics, they care about risk.

4. The oil companies knew – Back in the '80s, Exxon and others had internal reports saying burning fossil fuels would heat up the planet. That was their own science, not some Greenpeace blog.

5. Fixing it doesn’t mean shutting down trucks or killing jobs – It means making smarter decisions. Cleaner tech, better efficiency, long-term thinking. We don’t need to ditch what works, just adapt so it keeps working.

Why does this matter?

* It’s not about being left or right. It’s about protecting the land, the roads, and the way of life we all enjoy.
* If hunting seasons shift, fires close off trails, or storms wipe out infrastructure, we’re all affected.
* We’re problem solvers. This is just one more problem to tackle – with facts, gear, and some grit.

Bottom line: things are changing. That’s not politics, that’s what we’re all seeing. Let’s deal with it like we handle everything else – head on.

I remember discussions about global cooling and fear of a new ice age coming back in the '70s.

then it was global warming with Al Gore....

now it's climate change. meanwhile the earth has been having climate changes since it was formed.

Of all my concerns about the future, climate change isn't anywhere near the top. Invaders, libtards and Islam are bigger threats to our future than anything else IMO.
We just cant take these people and their Nu-Science seriously anymore.

Those on the woke left bastardize real science and education and everyone who doesnt know better just accepts it.....

When they have zero regard for actual science or education and have proven so over and over again.

Yeah um your the one here talking politics in OP in regards to climate change.... yet pretend it has nothing to do with politics.

Talk about being confused....... its even in your thread title

Par for the course in 2025 given todays below average educational standards and below average quality of education that seems to cross generations now :dunno:

Say “ no politics just straight facts”.

Then post about how mud feels in a lake or how a farmers field is as if it’s conclusive fact that it’s because of the evil oil companies. Again.

Then smile about a job well done while sitting in your house, heated by fossil fuel, using electricity, generated by fossil fuel, maybe drive up to town in a car powered by fossil fuel.
