fucking ah that sounds bad ass!
This particular one was one of the ones you could purchase and the shop would build it for you, built in 2010. The insides are meticulous and it is a very special amp indeed.skoora":155tyujb said:That sounds so good! I always regretted not getting the 2203 kit for the short time they offered it. I had built my 1959 earlier and it turned out great but wasn't sure about spending another grand and then poof, they stopped doing kits.

Do it! Awesome product, I'm half tempted to pick up another just in case the company implodes....I think Fryette are struggling bad or something weird is up. They don't even seem to be producing amps at the moment and they are having a PR nightmare that they fully brought on themselves with the long, long overdue release of the product they funded thru Kick Starter.

Is it solely to crank the main volume of the amp up to get the full tone while attenuating the overall volume to an acceptable level?

Be careful if that PS needs service, fryette is notorious for being hard to get in contact with. Try calling them, you will NEVER get anyone in the phone. I tell people they would contact Jimi Hendrix before Fryette on the phone. It didn't use to be this way. fryette used to personally take my calls sometimes. I knew that company had shit the bed when he lost the rights to his own company for unpaid loans and losing almost all of his dealers.![]()

I use a reverb and delay both in the loop of my PS. I also use a clean boost to boost the volume on solos and they all work perfectly. The loop is completely transparent. This is hands down the best, most useful attenuater on the market.mdc1mdc11":1ugz10w8 said:got my powerstation yesterday, very very nice. Does any use the effects loop for you modulation effects (echo and reverb) and can comment? Have not gotten to that yet? As an example place the hardwire DL8 echo and RV7 reverb in that loop and then switch those effects off. Is it pretty transparent beyond the great transparency already built into the product in normal mode?
