Would be interesting to hear it with a mix to see which sits in there better. The Axe is a little too in your face, but the Engl is a little too dark. Both could be tweaked, but in the context of a mix.

A lot of mixed views here… it’s good.
The engl was very deliberately recorded at live vol (which is about 3)
The engl becomes much more brighter when it’s cranked up but I can’t get it to that vol in a gigging situation.
I’m tweaking the live tone here, not the studio tone (if that makes sense)
Will be interesting to see how the axe sits in the mix with bass and drums
