Getting ready to do a few vids on the Fortin Blade I got recently and am messing with tones for the vid.

This is the "Fat Recto" preset from Choptones. I turned off the Verb/Delay for the first half. Also swapped the mic they had on the cab from the PR30 to the 421.

Using my Mammoth Custom Les Paul with EMG 57/66 set. No post processing. Just as-is into Logic Pro. I start with the Blade off, then kick it on about 15 seconds in.

I am really enjoying this pedal. This is my first time using external pedals with the Helix. Running it in front and not in one of the Helix loops.

Is the deep that unusable on these pedals?? I’ve post I’ve seen they have been set to 0. Does it only add bass?

I don't find it unusable at all. For lower output humbuckers and single coils it's great. It all depends on how you dial your amp in I suppose. It can definitely get overwhelming depending on your setup and how your tone is dialed in. Although set low it is not off on this. All the way off is pretty akin to the Grind/33 I believe.

Sounds pretty awesome...
Thanks man! Like I said, I have never used any external pedals with my Helix units and didn't;t want to mess with setting it up in a loop. All the Grind vids tend to be used on a Recto of some sort and Helix is my only Recto. Figured may as well give this a go. I really was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
