Didn't realize how desirable these Robin Machete guitars have become in the last few years. Anyways I got one of J's personal Robin's and here is a clip of it with a good friend of mine playing it.

I believe this is the guitar. I remember Robins having nice necks on them. Usually satin or low gloss maple necks. IIRC they were pricy, even in the early 90's so I never got one. But I was also a hard core Gibson guy and wouldn't have spent much on that style of a guitar.

Medley and Tedley Robins tanked like Carvin guitars on the used market years ago.
Hope they make a comeback.
They played so nice.

I have had a Robin Artisan for 19 years until recently selling it. I have always wanted a machete. The actual J guitar you have is beyond cool. I wanted to play through his astro creep rig so bad. That is a crushing tone
