Hope all goes well! The farting afterwards is phenomenal. Just a FYI of things they don't tell you, if you do the "twilight" fentanyl it is common to wake up and start talking in the middle of the procedure. So don't freak out. I woke up and was fully aware. Wasn't very pleasant but the fentanyl wears off gradually.

I've had the general anesthesia also and that burns in the arm pretty well for about a minute before you go to sleep. The downside I've expierienced is that you feel like crap for longer.

Good luck. Well worth it. I've had several now. The poop kits don't catch polyps as far as I know

A little advice. The shit they make you drink and the diet ( if they still do that) isn't that bad. I just didn't eat anything for 48 hours before the procedure. But the 12 hours before when you can't drink anything was a fucking nightmare. I have never been so thirsty in my life. I brushed my teeth like 8 times that morning just so I could get a little water. I mean I was ready to say fuck it and the woman made me go through with it. So do yourself a favor, before the time comes when you aren't supposed to drink anything, make sure you drink so much fucking water you feel like puking.

On the plus side the anesthetic is fucking top shelf man. When I woke up I was in a different room and the first thing I saw was the cover of Umma Gumma. Turns out my doctor is a Pink Floyd fan and had a bunch of albums on the wall in his office.
