Combo amp coming together...

Got this cab from JD Newell last December, finally getting around to putting the head and speaker in. I'm torn right now - the Blankenship Masterplex was gonna go in, but it sounds so good through my 4 x 12 I like having it as a head. In that case I'd put my Egnater Seminar head in the combo shell. But 90% of my gigs I'll probably use the combo, so I'd like the Blankenship in there just cause it's got more ooomphh. But the Egnater sounds awesome too - guess I'll have to just try each one through the combo speaker and take it from there. I guess that's not too bad of an issue to have it's actually a closed back combo too, I just have the back off getting ready to load a speaker.

Yeah, kind of my dream combo amp. Should have it figured out next week, then off to some blues jams with it

haha, yeah, I was wanting a JCM 800 type head with a loop in a 1 x12 format for ease and protability. JD Neweall made the cab - I wanted it fairly compact thinking I can tweak the eq on the amp to make up for any lack of bass - we'll see how it goes - I've still not heard a sound come out of it yet lol
