I admit it, I'm a Metallica fanboy :D

I'm also a Green Day Fanboy, but the fanboism is not up to MEtallica's level.

I think I have a mancrush on John Mayer's playing, not him, but his playing/songwriting. not a Fanboy perse yet

I know it is cool to hate on them, but Metallica still does it for me in a big way.

Been enjoying the ride since 1983

;)

Iron maiden, not as bad as I used to be,but still I love Iron maiden.

Van halen however it starting to change that.

Carried the torch for EVH for a long time.

I still love the songs and his legendary playing, but I gave up on the guy when he started marketing striped Converse.

His fans are begging for some new material; no studio album in over 10 years; he fired the best harmonizing bass player in rock n roll; he has "10 albums worth of material in the can" that will never see the light of day; and he is pushing $25,000 guitars, $400 pickups, and sneakers???

I'll pass.

End of Rant

I don't know if it qualifies as a "fanboy" but I'm really into Andy Timmons' playing and tone. If that makes me a fanboy...guilty as charged.

Ed D.
A lot of the stuff he plays goes WAY over my head, but his playing is still very inspiring to me and is forcing me to up my game and theory knowledge constantly.

ICED EARTH !!!!
Martyr (from canada) - I just wished they knew how to have a good tone, cause Dan Mongrain is the best guitarist period

Used to be a big 'tallica (up to AJFA but I love S&M) and Bodom (up to follow the reaper) fanboy

I think my biggest "fanboy-ism" is towards NIN. I will buy and search out anything by Trent.
Following that I'd say Maiden and Thrice.

The list is ever-changing... LOL! :D

Currently, I've rediscovered Nuno and Extreme... LOL! :D

Peter Tagtgren.

In the world of death metal, this dude is a legend as a performer and a producer. One of his main bands, Hypocrisy, is easily in my top 5 of all time. His other, Pain (which is a hybrid techno/industrial/metal project) is flipping phenomonal.

Michael Schenker - I try to see the guy each time he comes into town.

I thought you were going to say weird mids

EDIT: that's not really a "who" though...doh!

Thrice and Iron Maiden. Ill have to say I never realized how much I like the Killers too. Their first 2 albums are great.
