The list is ever-changing... LOL! :D

Currently, I've rediscovered Nuno and Extreme... LOL! :D

Nuno is one of those amazing players that I can't get into because of the personality. I once saw a video of him throwing his guitar at a guitar tech because it was out of tune. Now, maybe the guitar tech was in the wrong but throwing a guitar at him while on stage...bad form.

Reb Beach ( yeah, so what - I never watched Bevis and Butthead ) ....

I've liked everything he's done ( Winger, Dokken, The Mob, his solo-stuff too ).

About the only recordings I haven't listened to, was Fiona ( just can't go there ) ....

For me, being a fanboy means "I'll buy this band's next album, and see them live if they come to town, regardless of how low my expectations are for the music/show, or how stupid/arrogant/irritating/etc certain band members may be." There are a whole whack that fall into this category for me, though some aren't around anymore:

Led Zeppelin
Metallica
RHCP
Joe Satriani
The Tragically Hip
Foo Fighters
Megadeth
Tool
Nevermore
Opeth
Bob Marley

The list goes on...just a music fanatic I guess :)

Yeah, the list could be long... Those who come first to my mind are Frank Zappa, Tony Iommi, Jimmy Page, Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett...

I think my biggest "fanboy-ism" is towards NIN. I will buy and search out anything by Trent.
Following that I'd say Maiden and Thrice.
+1 to first!

Historically it would be George Lynch, but I actually walked out of his last show that I attended (3 years ago). I would have to hear some good reports before I ponied up to see him again.

I don't know if it qualifies as a "fanboy" but I'm really into Andy Timmons' playing and tone. If that makes me a fanboy...guilty as charged.
Same here in regards to Neal Schon , Im more than comfortable wearing the Fanboy Moniker if thats what my love of what he does brings me...

I used to be a huge Zakk fanboi. Had the same pedal board, got the sig amp, had a Les Paul with emg's. I was bad.

Not anymore. Not with the biker crap and the poor music he's been putting out.

Now it would have to be Steve Stevens, Jeff Loomis and Ace Frehley(always).

Oh, how could I forget Jake E. Lee.

I am sort of a Paul Gilbert fanboi, too, but that's tapering off lately. I did'nt care to much for his last couple of CDs. I'd still buy anything he put out.

I thought about it... But I think people are very well acquainted with my love for weird mids at this point... LOL! :D
I'll let the avatar do the talking.. . :D

I was watching an old video of him playing the solo from "Play with me" perfectly... while chewing gum and chatting with Gary Cherone.. Playing it like it's some Open G chord or some shit! LOL! :D
