They think some smart people who do unethical experiments will help them live forever. They can't accept mortality. The boomers and following generations are mostly very self centered in that regard. I was working for a boomer about a year ago on a job and she kept talking (and hoarding) like she had another 25 or 30 years left. She's 80, loll.

I’ve totally seen that too. These past few can be largely explained by the neuroticisms of the gerontocracy and their cohort. Time to let go, boomers.

I had an angry kangaroo like thumbsucker come at me in a post office one day when the "pandemic" started. Scared shitless he might catch covid but still waiting in line before USPS opened with dozens of others, his mask down below his nose. Went into a angry rant because I don't wear masks even on halloween. Tried to sick a constable on me, lol. Didn't work out for him. You tell grandpa to just stay home if he's scared and his head explodes along with his temper. Along came karen, kevin, and maxine.
 
There are far more reputable doctors and scientists out there that are either cautious or flat out against this mRNA vaccine. Most of the "experts" out there promoting it are political ideologues, bureaucrats, or monetarily benefit from it. People adjust their ethics, morals, method of thinking based on their paycheck. Having your paycheck (or spouse, family member, etc) in jeopardy for thinking the wrong thing is a powerful motivator to go in one direction and these things are always rather easily arranged to put people in a grey area where they can just switch off their brain and have minimal risk (or even social benefit) for doing so.

Everyone just picks and chooses who they want to claim as a true expert based solely on their own political lean. One of the defining features of the leftist brain is the mixture of poor critical thinking ability and extreme arrogance.

For the vaxxies: do you work in public sector or have a spouse that does?

100% this. Smugly ignorant and self righteous. Notice how these types never directly engage with contrary evidence, simply dismiss as “Fringe” or “Conspiracy”? And if any legitimate experts go against the official narrative, suddenly they lose credibility, as if the thing being debated is the litmus test for one’s credentials in the first place. Maybe we should just skip the whole science part, choose the desired outcome and award credentials based on whether someone espouses the position. …oh wait ?

Anyone that considers politics when making medical decisions is a dumbass imo.
 
The question of whether to implement lockdowns, mandating vaxxes or masks is a political question. The “Science” was manipulated or suppressed to justify political action. In the quest for various agendas, these fools have discredited “science” and “medicine” for many.

Lock downs and masks were political sure, and the vaccine mandate was political.

But the reason lockdowns, masks and vaccines help during a pandemic is not political. It’s black and white science that is foolish to deny.

If you don’t agree with how it was handled, it’s understandable, but to find the science to be flawed very misdirected

None of those things helped. The “Science” is unambiguous. If you think they did, you are either unaware or biased against the studies that contradict your belief.
 
And what about the almost certain fact that the virus was lab engineered? Funny how the industries (Not to mention governments) that likely caused this have escaped scrutiny. Are any of you narrative fanboys at all concerned about that?
