Good luck m'man... Nice looking ax. I still think you oughta get your hands on a Suhr sooner than later :D

But let us know how this ADT goes.

Peace,

I wouldn't do it. A while back I had a Custom Suhr Modern built to my specs. Don't get me wrong, I love the guitar, but it's not a PRS and it won't sound like your PRS. :)

I wouldn't trade (at least my favorite) custom 24 for anything. I've played about anything I can think of and while they're not everyone's cup of tea, the PRS CU24 is the tone I hear in my head.

Again that doesn't change the fact that my Suhr is awesome and a phenomenal guitar. I just like my PRS guitars.

I mentioned this before, I think its not the name on the guitar but rather how it each particular instrument meshes with you. if you're happy with a PRS, cool, but I haven't found one that I mesh with. Played a bunch of them to, started in the early 90's, but the same goes for the Jackson line, some people swear by the custom shop pieces and they just didn't feel right either. took a big gamble putting out the big dollar for the Suhr without ever playing it, Scott said it was amazing and it is....maybe I just got lucky and if so,

If you dig the PRS at all then I'd advise against trading it for an unknown quantity. I wouldn't think the curiosity would be worth the risk.

If, however, you feel lukewarm about the PRS then you're no worse off after the trade I would think.

thats just it, id say im luke warm ..im on the search for the guitar that just feels like an extension of my hands ,ive been playing a long time and im at the point where i dont want to like its a chore playing this paticular guitar or that one, im not a collector of guitars ,i love playing music and i just want my les paul and a great guitar that just feels perfect :D
